Time is up for Christoph Ahlhaus, marking a new record for the endurance period of Hamburg´s mayors! A mere 6 months after being elected by the reigning partys instead of the public the CDU looses with another record low in the Hamburg election!
Social democrat Olaf Scholz and his party are now faced with rebuilding some kind of financial stability for Hamburg´s 30 billion Euro debts.
If Gerhard Schröders former minister can owe up to any promises remains to be seen. The only decisions concerning names are Frank Horch(former boss of Hamburgs mighty chamber of commerce) and Erck Rickmers(personally chosen for a certain 13th place on the SPD list).
Rickmers is facing grave problems concerning the Nordcapital and Deutsche Bank fund BULKERFLOTTE 1, due to the bankruptcy of Korea Line Corporation, where all ships were bundled.
These choices are certainly not indicating any belt tightening for Hamburgs dwindling finances. With the HSH, Hapag, HGV crisis increasing daily Scholz has no time to loose!

Bulkerflotte 1 - Total loss for Investors? Assured finances and long term charter contracts....almost no risks seen! Scholz choice Erck Rickmers. Let´s hope that the guy does´nt use his economic wisdom to disintegrate more of taxpayers best in one of the public companies of Hamburgs HGV, or is he already set as natural choice for the HSH or Hapag Lloyd supervisory board by Hamburgs new mayor?

Today mayor Ole von Beust and new financial senator Carsten Frigge presented the bill for the von Beust, Peiner and Freytag big spending era of the City of Hamburg.
"We´ve lived way above our means up to today, now we face structural household problems that are gigantic!"
The City now faces deficits of up to a billion Euro a year.

Nothing new, since we´ve critisized the big spenders from the CDU for the past years.
The mayor announced a government declaration for June 16th. Possible ways out of the selfmade crisis are also postponed till June.

Journey into the deficit

A devastating balance by Hamburgs Rechnungshof (audit division) shows the results of Freytag, von Beust and the HSHs political and economic megalomania! The City of Hamburgs fortune of 4 billion Euros in 2006 shrinks to a pitiful rest of 60 million Euros! The CDU and Green partys of Hamburg with their corrupt holding vehicle HGV have amassed over 13 billion new debts since the start of their legislative term in 2008! For the coming years there is no hope of change for the citys taxpayers! Already the HGV has proclaimed massive losses in the coming years due to HSH, Hapag, HHLA, SAGA etc.! The question is how long will the public tolerate the exceptional charges of Hamburgs t(fl)op politicians? The Rechnungshofs president Jann Meyer-Abich talks of structural household problems, our impression is that Hamburgs roped partys in politics, administrations, public undertakings, private interests combined with HSH and HGV errors are the reasons for the self induced crisis! Too bad that not even the immediate instigation of working anti corruption laws will save Hamburgs tax payers from paying for the gambling debts of the political responsible and their economic friends! The long and hard journey into the deficit has just begun, thanks to responsible personell in Hamburgs senate, citizenry and public authorities! The proud ship Hamburg has long since sunken to the bottom of Germanys debt oceans!

Wiegards HSH Watchdog now in Hamburg!?

Freytags HGV and HSH legacy?
Will Wiegards HSH Watchdog Roggenkamp inherit Klemmt-Nissens HSH board position? The organigram of Hamburgs financial authorities from March the 18th informs us that Dr. Klemmt-Nissen is no longer the head of HGV shareholder management! His replacement is Dr. Sybille Roggenkamp, in Kiel still noted as head of Wirtschaftsabteilung (Abteilung VI 4) Finanzministerium Kiel! Amongst other things chairman of the governing board for Schleswig Holsteins building management public-law body (Real estate xperts are always welcomed by Hamburgs finance and real estate authorities), has inherited this position as one of the last acts of Michael Freytag as a senator of Hamburg! Last week she already supervised the Elste appearance before Hamburgs subcommittee for public corporations.

Has Hamburg run out of competent personell that is able to supervise and account for the billions of taxpayer Euro in the HSH, HGV, Hapag Lloyd, Hochbahn, HHLA and 300+ other senate (private) companys?

Wiegards financial ministerium in Kiel comes to the rescue of the senats HSH, HGV and so on… Why do Ole von Beust and the senate of Hamburg make a big secret out of this very important change, concerning the fate of Hamburgs financial interests?

House search for new C4 financial senator!

Razzia at Freytag successor Frigges home in connection with a pending investigation of a CDU party financing scandal from North Rhine-Westphalia. Ole von Beust and Hilmar Kopper friend, Carsten Frigge was woken rudely by police looking for evidence concerning his role as C4 manager in yet another of the many CDU money taking scandals of recent times.
The ex Roland Berger man blends in well with a senate trying to hide it´s bungling economic deals from the public at all costs. Nevertheless this is even a first for the City of Hamburg, as there has been no other recorded police search of a senators premises in the history of the city! Computer, records and laptops have reportedly been secured by the police officials.

Frigges new press ignorance rules?
New financial authorities press service concerning inquiries from independent and investigative press sources such as Hochbahnopfer.de! "We don´t answer anymore questions, don´t even acknowledge that they´ve been asked, so you can´t be real!" The dead duck system in Hamburg when it comes to questions concerning CDs from Switzerland and measures being taken, explicit inquiries about millions that have been used for the insurance of public undertakings etc....Naturally the partnering and senate friendly Springer press is further accomodated with information that is viewed as unalarming to the public....

Aiming to give you a better understanding of the free and hanseatic City of Hamburg we would like to start with a report by Die Zeit from 1998. The names exept for one have changed, the business of politics in the city shows marginal differences.

Assuming the fans of the HSV (Football Club) use bus or rail to reach the stadion, they would stay in the (SPD) family. The boss of Hamburgs Hochbahn AG is Günter Elste, chairman of the SPD district Hamburg-Wandsbek; his supervisory board chairman is building senator Eugen Wagner, chairman of the SPD district Hamburg Central. The stocks of the Hochbahn belong to the HGV. Before coming to the Hochbahn Elste was managing director there and supervisory member of the outfit that he´s commanding now, the Hochbahn, and: Head of the SPD fraction of Hamburgs Bürgerschaft. A man supervises and monitors himself. Circles around himself in ever new and, so we dare to assume, more profitable orbits. The Elste (remembrance, Hamburgs Hochbahn) is in fact a grade A graduate of business management. (amongst others: Henning Vorscherau) Henning Vorscherau says whatever one may find, is definitely not a case of "systematical office patronage." These are all singular cases.
Klaus von Dohnanyi has registered "old boy networks and related nettings". Henning Vorscherau notices cooly "The big city is too focused and close for the opportunity of building a system of checks and balances," This could be reworded: The ship has a heavy list, permanently. Nobody is willing or able to change this. Then not alone the officers, but also the crew have settled into this placid situation, which only for the outside world looks precarious. An in itself unrested, for the outside closed environment.

Now the financial senator Mr. Freytag circles around himself, Mr. Elste gives the act of being "National Player" and the newly found "Kohle von Beust" friends enjoy their well earned holidays after 100 days of hard senate work. Business as usual in the confines of the City of Hamburg.
