Since 2000 the company is run by Alexander Otto and has become European market leader in the sector of inner city shopping centers! The ECE Group enters many projects as a self investor and keeps them in the portfolio for many years. Hamburgs Senate has called Professor Peer Witten as chairman of the board of trustees of Hamburgs logistics offensive in 2005! Witten is also Chairman of the supervisory board of Hamburgs HHLA! After his doctorate he began his career 1976 with the Otto Group. Since 1984 Witten belonged to the Otto Groups board of directors! 2005 he was called to the supervisory board of the Group! Since 1990 he also belongs to Germanys federal logistics association, first as a member of the advisory council, since 1999 as CEO!
